This is the beginnings of a piece I'm working on for - because she's a sweetie for continuing to monitor my work and her words of encouragement and I'm nothing less than obligated to finish this piece for her. :D

Tools: HB pencil - scanned basic outline - hand drawn the armor and hair etc. in PS CS with my Wacom Graphire
MMmm Wacom.... <3

:update: this is how far I've gotten with the inking so far... I've gotta get better at this because right now, it's taking me FOREver! hehe
Of course I'm sure you can see why too ;)

little more done.. not a heckuva lot but it's at least something... I've got a fair bit of time to work on it tonight, so that's what I'll be doing... :D

little bit more done... I wish I weren't so tedius, I could get the same level of detail done if I didn't nit pick so much and it would get done in half the time :P - or at least 2/3 of the time... hah!

Still inking at the moment - having fun experimenting with exactly what I can do with illustrator.. this has to be the greatest inking tool ever invented! heheh
just you WAIT to see how the "fins" (or whatever you call those gill type things on her armor) turn out! pressure sensative stylus FTW!!

long time no see.. and yes I know, it's MY fault I haven't seen anyone on here for ages :P
And well, Witchblade IS a rather organic armor set - Michael Turner draws her almost more random than I have... I like to not only make things random and organic looking, but if I'm going to do that I like to put a bit of style to it.. ;)
I love things that radiate out - almost wing like... I love having a play with progressive angles.. it's almost like visual psycho trance for me..

Instead of submitting new versions of this every time I get a bit further with it.. I'm just going to continue to update this submission... so pls have another look at it as it's now updated. :D
